Kateri Mills graduated from the 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. This is a complement to her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from Laurentian University, and her Level IV coaching certificate and Level III Instructor in cross country skiing. Still continuing her education and skills, Kateri is presently enrolled in the International Sports Massage Program.
Kateri has a strong coaching background and has been involved in High Performance Sport and Canadian Olympic Association since 1998. She has spent 6 years as a full time cross country ski Coach before returning to school. During this period, she became Head coach of the Ontario Provincial team and coached the Canadian Junior National team. She also worked some contracts with the Canadian Senior National team. She is proud that two of her athletes competed at 2010 & 2014 Olympics.
Kateri is excited to bring her strong background & experience into her new career as a RMT and looks forward to setting up her practice in Whistler.
Originally moving to Whistler in 1999, Kateri enjoys her time cross country skiing and mountain biking, road biking, hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding and open water swimming. An avid volunteer in the corridor with local clubs, events and in schools.
Kateri takes interest in Sport Massage, Deep Tissue & Children’s Massage, Muscle Energy, Joint Mobilization, Trigger points and Active Release Therapy (A.R.T) techniques.
Kateri is currently studying International Sports Massage.
